The Baltic salmon The salmon in the Lainio river is from the Baltic sea, therefore both the middle weight and the maximum weight are larger than the Atlantic salmon. We catch a lot of salmons between 15-26 lbs (7-12 kg) and each year a few monsters around 55 lbs (25 kg). For the trophyhunters the Lainio river is a great challenge, because the maximum weight of the Baltic salmon is over 60 lbs (30 kg)! |
